1. Why did TCWD disconnect my water service?
According to nos. 9 and 13 of the Water Service Contract, TCWD has the right and authority to disconnect the concessionaire’s water service connection for:

a) Non-payment of water bills.
If the water bill is not paid seven (7) days after

b) the due date, the water service will be disconnected without prior notice. Voluntary disconnection

c) Illegal water connections are made.
2. Can I just remove the meter seal after paying the bill?

No, only the assigned TCWD fieldman is authorized to reconnect the service. Any attempt by the concessionaire after he has paid to remove the meter seal will render him criminally liable under RA 8041 or Water Crisis Act for the illegal reopening of disconnected water service

3. What are the illegal acts under the water crisis Act?
Under RA 8041 or the Water Crisis Act, the following acts are considered illegal: Water meter by-pass or illegal tapping Unauthorized/unregistered service connection Illegal reopening of water service Meter tampering Reversed water meter Illegal use of booster pump
4. If my due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday will I be charged for overdue billing?

If the due date falls on Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday, the water bill will be due for payment on the following working day

5. How much is the reconnection fee?
If the water service is disconnected but the concessionaire managed to settle the overdue water bill on the following schedule, the corresponding Reconnection Fee applies:

a) Reconnection within two (2) calendar days from disconnection – Php100.00
b) Reconnection within three (3) calendar days to six (6) months from disconnection – Php300.00
6. How do I know my water bill and last payment?

Concessionaires may avail of our text bill service by enrolling their active mobile number at our Public Assistance and Complaints Desk (PACD) or in the Billing Section.

7. How can I avail of the water subsidy coupon?

Active billed residential accounts will automatically avail of the water subsidy coupon.
